At the age of 18, he turned a sold-out benefit performance in Texas into a $50,000 fundraiser for flood relief in the area.

Myers draws on his Texas musical history, having grown up with guitar riffs and family jam sessions. His music combines honesty and gritty aspects, with influences ranging from contemporary storytellers like Chris Stapleton to country music stalwarts like George Strait.
