The Return of the SICK NEW WORLD NU-METAL festival

In a groundbreaking turn of events, the eagerly anticipated music extravaganza, Sick New World, following last year returns to the city of Las Vegas on April 27, 2024. This variegated festival is a melting pot of musical genres, blending iconic Y2K-era, nu-metal legends with trailblazing acts from the expanded alt-metal and heavy alternative realm.

Headlining the event for the second consecutive year is the legendary System Of A Down, sharing the spotlight with co-headliners Slipknot. Joining these titans are influential and highly growing bands such as Sleep Token, Bad Omens, Spirit Box, and more well known bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, A perfect circle, Alice in chains, and many more. These acts are sure to ignite the stage and send shockwaves through the audience at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. 

After the festival’s revelation, the official Sick New World website has declared that the pre-sale for tickets is scheduled to commence on Friday, November 11th, at 10 AM PT. According to the site, general admission tickets will be available, kicking off at $249, while premium packages are offered at a premium price, reaching as high as $539. The festival will run for the majority of the day starting at 11AM on April 27th 2024 and ending at 12AM on April 28th 2024. 

There are 3 ticket Tiers (GA, GA+, VIP). The General admission tickets include: Performances all day on multiple stages at Las Vegas festival grounds, food choices from regional and local vendors, bars, concessions, official band merch, festival merch, free water stations, and more. The General Admission+ offers the same perks as General Admission in addition to air-conditioned restrooms, and dedicated entry lane at main entrance. The VIP tickets offer the same perks as General Admission+ in addition to, charging stations, and dedicated merch tent for festival merch. Is the place too far and you need a place to stay? Don’t worry Sick New world also offers Hotel and Ticket packages with 2-5 nights at hotels near the festival with many more additional perks. 

Sick New World includes acts of up to 70 plus bands with several bands performing at the same time across 5 stages of varying sizes placed around the festival grounds. Based on the current information we have no idea what the lineup times are, but the full lineup details including set times will be released closer to the date of the festival so be sure to keep an eye out, and plan your day out for the performances you want to see. The length of the performances will vary. Opening acts will have shorter set lengths, while headlining performances can range up to an hour.
