K-pop group The Boyz return with their latest full-length album ‘Pt.1 Christmas In August’. The Boyz read the room and brought 6 tracks that perfectly match the fresh summer vibe of the season!
The Boyz debuted back in 2017 and cleared the path towards success on their own as they released EPs, singles and albums back-to-back. Soon enough, The Boyz reaped the harvest they sowed as their song ‘Bloom Bloom’ made its first win in Korea, which began the “TBZ” (The Boyz) craze. TBZ started to attract an international fanbase that demanded world tour shows, where they were invited on many American entertainment shows like ‘BuzzFeed Celeb’ and ‘Seventeen’.
After accomplishing much, TBZ recently released their comeback, ‘2nd Album [Phantasy] Pt.1 Christmas In August’, with the title track ‘Lip Gloss’. The music video features the boys on a beach starstruck over a girl and ‘Fantasize’ over the thought of tasting her lip gloss. Summer love really does make you go crazy!
Kim Sunwoo, one of the youngest members, has been known to co-write songs for the group and was also credited for co-writing half of the tracks on the latest album. Now, take a listen to each of these summer-infused tracks and watch as The Boyz have you grooving along.
