Who Are the Next GEN K-Pop Group Debut's To Anticipate in 2024?

Lets meet some of the most anticipated K-pop group debuts this year!!!

1. NCT New Team

Also known as NCT Tokyo, this group is the latest sub-unit of NCT, managed by SM Entertainment. The six-member group includes Sion, Riku, Yushi, Daeyoung, Ryo, and Sakuya. They’ve already made a splash with their pre-debut single “Hands Up” and have been part of various concerts and shows like NCT Universe: Lastart. NCT New Team is expected to continue the legacy of their main group, NCT, with their unique flair and talents.

2. KATSEYE

This global girl group under Geffen Records and HYBE America was formed through the survival show The Debut: Dream Academy. The six members of KATSEYE are Manon, Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae. They bring together a diverse range of talents and cultural backgrounds, with members from Switzerland, the Philippines, the United States, and South Korea. The group is multilingual, speaking languages including English, Tagalog, Spanish, German, French, Hindi, Italian, and Korean. Their debut album is expected in 2024, accompanied by a Netflix documentary series detailing their journey.

3. I’LL-IT

Formed through JTBC and HYBE’s R U Next? survival show, I’LL-IT is a six-member girl group under BE:LIFT Lab. The group consists of Yunah, Minju, Moka, Youngseo, Wonhee, and Iroha, bringing together a diverse array of talents and personalities. They’re expected to debut soon as a fresh and dynamic addition to the K-Pop scene.

4. JYP Loud

This four-member pre-debut boy band from JYP Entertainment was formed through the survival show LOUD. The members of this promising group are Lee Gye Hun, Amaru, Keiju, and Lee Dong Hyeon. Originally slated for a debut in the first half of 2023, their debut has been postponed as of December 2023, increasing anticipation among fans. 5. VCHA

This US-based global girl group, born through the reality survival show A2K, is set to debut under JYP Entertainment. They’ve already caught attention with their pre-debut single “SeVit (New Light)” and are expected to make their official debut in 2024. VCHA is part of JYP Entertainment’s ambitious global expansion, with members showcasing a blend of diverse cultures and musical styles.

6. ARTMS

This group is a new venture under MODHAUS, featuring members from the popular group LOONA – Choerry, Heejin, Jinsoul, and Kim Lip. Choerry, Jinsoul, and Kim Lip are known for their work in LOONA’s sub-unit ODD EYE CIRCLE, while Heejin has made a name for herself with her first single. ARTMS is reported to be debuting in the first quarter of 2024, generating excitement among fans of LOONA and K-pop in general.

7. TIOT

A 4-member pre-debut unit under Redstart ENM, TIOT’s members Kim Minseoung, Kim Junhyeon, Hong Keonhee, and Choi Woojin have previously participated in the idol survival program Boys Planet. The announcement of their debut adds another promising group to the watchlist for K-pop enthusiasts.

8. NXD

An upcoming five-member boy group under RBW, NXD consists of members who have previously participated in major idol survival programs like Boys Planet and Fantasy Boys. The group includes Jaemin, Hiroto, Hyeonggeun, Daehyun, and Yongjoon. Their exact debut date is yet to be announced, but their involvement in high-profile survival programs has already generated buzz around them.

9. ATTRAKT’s New Girl Group

This project is a collaboration between FIFTY FIFTY‘s company and JTBC, aiming to form a new girl group. Details regarding their debut date and the number of members are yet to be announced, keeping fans in suspense about this upcoming addition to the K-Pop landscape.

10. Geenius

Set to debut under SURE PLACE, this aspiring girl group is notable for having three members who participated in the popular survival show Girls Planet 999. The group was previously known as Bebez at Blockberry Creative but joined the new label after their contracts expired.
