Lauren Stenhouse, owner of Coro The Chocolate Cafe, reported a record weekend, selling over 100 bespoke Taylor-inspired chocolate fondue boards. "It's been unreal. That's been our best weekend since we have opened," she shared, noting the positive impact on her small business. The influx of fans brought unprecedented motivation and excitement, transforming what could have been challenging times into a memorable and profitable experience. Claire Meikle, general manager of The Alchemist, echoed similar sentiments, describing the bar filled with excited fans adorned in sequins and glitter. Many international fans from the US and Canada chose to enjoy their Taylor Swift experience in Scotland, citing exorbitant ticket prices back home. The Alchemist responded to the Swiftie invasion by distributing handmade friendship bracelets with certain drinks, though demand quickly outpaced supply. "It was a great fun weekend," Meikle remarked, highlighting the sense of camaraderie and shared joy among fans and businesses alike. The Eras Tour not only delivered unforgettable performances but also invigorated Edinburgh’s local economy and fostered a strong sense of community.
