In recent years, many fourth-generation South Korean girl groups have made their debut, intensifying the competition among these aspiring young idols. In the depths of this influx of newly introduced girl groups, IVE significantly stands out with their refreshing group concept and song selections that become hits.
Many new and current kpop enthusiasts listen to their songs for the first time and immediately fall in love with them. Their debut song, “Eleven” was able to showcase the six members individually, showing each member is charismatic in their own way, promptly establishing devoted fan bases for every member.
Approaching their two-year debut anniversary, they're kicking off their first world tour, titled “SHOW WHAT I HAVE”. It’s been mentioned that IVE’s first concert is set to embrace the idea of: “new”, encompassing new songs, new performances and overall appeal. Through this approach, they will showcase their recently released album “I’ve Mine.”
IVE have been actively releasing singles like “Off The Record” and “Either Way” in preparation for their world tour. As this exciting journey commences, they've also unveiled a teaser for their new track: “Baddie.” IVE explained that these three singles aim to show different perspectives of “me.” “Either Way” shows how one is perceived externally, “Baddie” unveils a new identity within oneself, and “Off the Record” provides insight on how we perceive one another.
