Ed Sheeran has brought back actor Rupert Grint for an upcoming music video, marking their first collaboration since 2011's viral "Lego House" visual. The new project accompanies Sheeran's track "A Little More," scheduled for release this Thursday as part of his forthcoming album Play.
A teaser shared by Sheeran shows Grint emerging from prison, presumably after serving time for the events depicted in their original video. The preview includes flashbacks to "Lego House," where Grint played an overenthusiastic fan who impersonated the singer. This continuation of the storyline arrives fourteen years after their first collaboration became an internet sensation.
“14 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited,” Sheeran by captioning the clip. “I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully Rupert was up for it. It’s an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song.”
Sheeran described the video as "utterly bonkers" in a social media post, explaining that he conceived the idea while writing the song. The upbeat track blends humor with what the artist calls an "angry"edge, though full details remain under wraps until Thursday's premiere."A Little More" will appear on Play, Sheeran's September album release. The musician hinted that it might become a fan favorite, though the complete tracklist has yet to be revealed.
The pairing of Sheeran and Grint has long amused fans due to their physical resemblance. After "Lego House," Grint jokingly claimed in an MTV skit that Sheeran was a fictional character he created post-Harry Potter. Their reunion plays into this lighthearted narrative while introducing a fresh twist.
With Sheeran preparing for a 2026 tour and new music on the way, this video marks the beginning of an active period for the artist. Fans eager to see Grint's return can watch the full video when it premieres later this week.
