The wait is officially over: Blackpink is back—louder, bolder, and more united than ever. On the opening night of their highly anticipated Deadline World Tour, the global K-pop phenomenon debuted “Jump,” their first new song since 2023—and now, it’s officially out, with a visually electric video to match.
A dynamic blend of attitude, bass, and polished pop swagger, “Jump” marks a powerful reunion for Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa after nearly two years of pursuing individual projects. Co-written by Teddy, Diplo, 24, Zikai, Claudia Valentina, Jumpa, Malachiii, and Jesse Bluu—and co-produced by Diplo, 24, Boaz van de Beatz, Zecca, and Ape Drums—the track hits hard both sonically and symbolically. The cinematic music video, directed by Dave Meyers, brings the group’s commanding energy back to center stage, dripping with high-concept visuals, futuristic styling, and that unmistakable Blackpink presence.
The First Step Back—With Solo Stars Reunited
“Jump” follows a significant chapter of growth for each member. Rosé dropped her debut album Rosie in late 2024, Jisoo followed with Amortage in February, Lisa stunned fans with Alter Ego, and Jennie closed the solo streak with her release Ruby. Each project showcased a new side of the quartet—but “Jump” is a fierce reminder of what happens when they come together.
The song’s debut on July 5 in South Korea wasn’t just a tour kickoff—it was a global reset. Fans erupted online after the performance, praising the group’s synergy, vocals, and stage power. For many Blinks, this release is more than a comeback; it’s a celebration of unity after a long wait.
Deadline World Tour: A Global Takeover in Motion
With the Deadline World Tour already underway, Blackpink is set to hit major stadiums across North America, Europe, and Asia through early 2026. From SoFi Stadium in California to Wembley in London and the Tokyo Dome, the tour spans continents and cultures—cementing Blackpink’s legacy as one of the most influential music acts of the generation.
The tour’s name, Deadline, feels intentional—edgy, urgent, and full of meaning. As the group continues to break boundaries and redefine the global soundscape, it’s clear they’re far from finished.
One of the most jaw-dropping moments surrounding “JUMP” didn’t happen on stage—it happened in China. Known for its notoriously tough landscape for international artists, the Chinese market rarely welcomes foreign acts with open arms. But Blackpink didn’t just break through—they stormed in. Within just 30 minutes of its release, “JUMP” rocketed to No. 1 on both QQ Music’s Daily Best-Selling Singles chart with over 53,000 digital sales and KuGou with more than 14,000. In a country where red tape and digital firewalls have stalled countless global stars, Blackpink’s instant dominance isn’t just a win—it’s a statement.
Subsequently, and with only a few hours of counting, BLACKPINK's “JUMP” became the "Best-Selling Single on QQ Music in 2025", with over 270K sales and achieving this after being above any Chinese and non-Chinese single.
A Moment Worth the Wait
“Jump” isn’t just a song—it’s a statement. It’s about movement, elevation, and reclaiming space on their own terms. With unmatched charisma and a pulse-pounding beat, the track reminds the world that Blackpink doesn’t just drop music—they create cultural moments.
And for fans who’ve stood by during the solo eras, the message is clear: the queens are back, and they’re moving forward—together.
