Throughout 2024, The Beatles have been consistently appearing and reappearing on the Billboard charts, with their presence often varying by week and by album. While the legendary band often charts with their numerous greatest hits compilations, this week sees a shift as one of their most celebrated studio albums, Abbey Road, reenters the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. This iconic album, which continues to be a favorite among fans, reappears at No. 50, securing the last spot on the list of the most-consumed rock and alternative albums in the country. Despite its age, the return of Abbey Road is a testament to its enduring popularity and influence.
In this week’s chart activity, The Beatles join three other acts that see their popular projects make a comeback on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. Melanie Martinez’s K-12 rises to No. 42, System of a Down’s Toxicity climbs to No. 47, and Billy Joel’s Piano Man returns at No. 49, just ahead of The Beatles.
