After the success of his debut mixtape and the well-received "Die Lit" in 2018, Carti left fans eagerly awaiting his next move. Now, after a three-year hiatus, it seems the rapper is ready to drop his latest project, leaving fans rushing with excitement.

Carti's rise to fame began in 2017 when he released his self-titled debut mixtape. The snippets left fans craving more and speculating about the direction Carti might take with his latest album.

On December 7, Carti took to his Instagram Story, posting the words "I AM MUSIC" and changing his profile picture to match the message. This marked a significant step in the official rollout for "Music." While Carti has yet to reveal an actual release date, the social media activity suggests that the project is in its final stages, and is rumored to release in the beginning of 2024, as claimed by DJ Akademiks which fans claim is a reliable source as he also stated that Carti’s “Whole Lotta Red” album will release on Christmas of 2020, and that statement turned out to be true, which now leaves fans eager for more details.

The rapper also teased a new song on the album titled “UR THE MOON” on his Instagram story to sample the type of sound and style Carti has chosen to take which received immensely positive reactions by the fans.
