Recently, Overwatch 2 has embraced this concept, with an exciting partnership that has captured the attention of fans worldwide. Blizzard, the masterminds behind Overwatch 2, recently announced their latest venture – a musical collaboration with the renowned K-pop girl group, LE SSERAFIM.
LE SSERAFIM, a powerhouse in the K-pop industry, is a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music. Comprising five members – Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae – the group made its dynamic debut on May 2, 2022, with their first extended play, "Fearless." Their name, an anagram of "I'm Fearless," embodies their bold spirit, a quality mirrored in their music and performances.
This exciting collaboration was unveiled on October 18, marking Overwatch 2's first foray into the realm of music. The collaboration will feature a custom game mode and hero skins inspired by the sensational K-pop stars. Blizzard's collaboration with LE SSERAFIM goes beyond the digital realm. LE SSERAFIM will integrate elements from Overwatch 2 into their upcoming music video for the single "Perfect Night," set to debut on October 26 at 9 pm PDT. In a teaser, one of the group's members can be seen wearing D.Va's iconic headphones, showcasing their shared enthusiasm for the game.
