Kehlani is making a powerful return with her upcoming album, Crash, set to drop on June 21. This release marks her first full-length project since the 2022 hit album Blue Water Road.
Kehlani, widely known for hits like "Nights Like This," ended a brief hiatus this April by gifting fans with "After Hours," a vibrant summer anthem. The single, which brilliantly samples Cordel “Scatta” Burrell’s “Coolie Dance Riddim,” comes with a captivating music video shot at the iconic Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
On May 15, Kehlani took to social media to officially announce Crash, sharing the album’s stunning cover art. The cover features the singer atop a wrecked red car, donning a metallic two-piece set with mermaid cut-out pants and a silver-studded bra. The visual is as striking as it is symbolic, setting the tone for what promises to be a transformative album.
Crash follows Kehlani's previous chart-topping album, Blue Water Road, and is her first studio album in over two years. With her groovy "After Hours" track already making waves, Kehlani's return has been nothing short of spectacular. She celebrated the release of "After Hours" with an Instagram post declaring, "operation BACK OUTSIDE effective immediately."
Anticipation continues to build as Kehlani teased another snippet on social media, hinting at a potential next single titled "Next 2 U." While the release date for this track remains a mystery, fans are eager for any new material from the acclaimed artist.
