The wait for the Toronto rapper’s long-awaited album is finally here. After a summer full of teasing, Drake’s fourth album in barely two years ”For All the Dogs” has arrived. The album has a massive 23 songs on its track list, featuring many artists like Bad Bunny, J.Cole, SZA, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, and more. Drake first introduced the new album more than three months ago, announcing that the release date will be September 22nd, only to postpone the release date to October 6th, alongside his first Toronto concert in his current tour “It’s All A Blur Tour.”
The image above is actually the album cover of “For All the Dogs.” Drake’s son, Adonis Graham, aged 5 years-old, drew the artwork for the album cover. Producers on the record include Bnyx, Boi-1da, Cash Cobain, Justin Raisen, Sadpony, and Southside. Furthermore, Drake is also an executive producer on this album. Famous Phoenix Suns basketball player Kevin Durant is also listed as doing A&R for this album. This role refers to a collaborator who helps to organize an album.
Being one of the most successful rappers of all time, Drake has had 12 Billboard No.1 albums in all, including the last two albums from last year, Her Loss and Honestly, Nevermind. So, the pressure is going to be at an all time-high for the rapper from Toronto. However, Drake sounded very confident on Thursday when he called the new album “one of my best ever.” However, Drake also mentioned last Friday that he would like to take a break following his current tour and the release of the new album since the rapper needs to focus on his health. You can still get the chance to see the rapper on his current tour which is scheduled to have its last show on October 9th in Columbus. Furthermore, you can now stream the new album on both Spotify and Apple Music. You can also see the track list of the album below:
